Ginns earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Studies at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance. He is currently pursuing a master’s in jazz studies at NYU and performs around the city. Ginns has studied with Lenny White, Michael Wolff, Carl Allen, Mike Richmond, Michael Gould, and Benny Green.
